This is an archival version of The China Matrix website, news and analysis of the China Internet market covering the period between early 1997 and March 17, 1999. The China Matrix provided four major areas of service focusing on the China Internet market: news (archive and review), analytical perspective, China Internet background information, and directory services. The China Matrix was called "essential" by Hanno Lecher of the WWW Virtual Library for China Studies, was part of Sintercom's Best of Asia Pacific Hall of Fame, and was approved by Argus Clearinghouse.
